Product Managers

(San Jose, CA)

The RedLaser team is passionate about helping customers shop and research using their mobile devices to find the best deals online & offline. We are looking for motivated Product Managers to drive several product opportunities on some of the most innovative and exciting platforms today in a dynamic, startup-like environment.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Synthesize customer insights, quantitative and qualitative data, and business strategy into product concepts and requirements
  • Create and maintain project plans/sprints, scope out development efforts, manage the bug process and ensure that deliverables are completed on-time and at the highest quality
  • Focusing on emerging technologies such as barcode scanning, image recognition, OCR and voice recognition
  • Work closely with a team of engineers, product managers, designers, product marketers and PR to bring cutting-edge products & technology to our end-users in an agile manner
  • Write and consult on complex product requirements definition and product design
  • Being innovative and passionate about new mobile technologies and understanding the mobile landscape

Job Requirements:

  • Superb attention to detail and ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced, dynamic startup-like environment
  • Strong prioritization and organizational skills
  • Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work closely with engineers and maximize their productivity
  • Deep understanding of consumer behavior & pain points, and instinct for identifying opportunities for innovation
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Great team player that works well in collaborative environments
  • Technical-minded early-adopter of emerging technologies
  • Experience with mobile application development a plus
  • Experience with services and API documentation/workflows a plus

Education:

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent
